Alice Finnamore offers her understanding of the biblical teaching on abundance with the publication of The Glory of Being: A Biblical Journey into Abundance.
The former NDP candidate for Tobique-Mactaquac, Finnamore explains that her political activity was motivated by this book. “Having outlined what I believe is the scriptural formula for abundance, I discovered how closely my beliefs fit with the policies of the New Democratic Party.”
The Glory of Being: A Biblical Journey into Abundance proclaims that finding our place of unity with God is the key to abundance. Referencing science, scripture, and dreams, the book explores how duality and differences have been misconstrued, explains a biblical perspective on oneness with God, and offers the life of Jesus as an example showing how abundance is not a far-off wait-until-heaven experience, but a here and now, dirty feet and sunburned reality.
“I believe,” says Finnamore, “that we must learn to look after one another. Once we know that there is enough for all, then we will be able to make the dream of abundance real.”

ABOUT AUTHOR
A published writer, workshop leader and speaker, Alice Finnamore is an accomplished therapist with a private practice in Fredericton, New Brunswick.
She graduated from Acadia Divinity College in 1981, and later completed a master’s degree in psychology from the University of New Brunswick (1993). This is her first book. She was the NDP candidate in her riding of Tobique-Mactaquac in the 2006 Canadian federal election.
